My world
It was raining cats and dogs.
I was playing the piano.
The same old exam pieces,
Scales and arpeggios.
I banged the piano as hard as I can;
In hope to match the thunder’s roar.
Neighbours might be complaining,
But I don’t take a damn what they say.
For a second,
I felt peace in my soul.
Nothing to worry,
Nothing to care.
I am myself.
I live in my own world.
The world of music,
And the roar of thunder.
I was playing the piano.
The same old exam pieces,
Scales and arpeggios.
I banged the piano as hard as I can;
In hope to match the thunder’s roar.
Neighbours might be complaining,
But I don’t take a damn what they say.
For a second,
I felt peace in my soul.
Nothing to worry,
Nothing to care.
I am myself.
I live in my own world.
The world of music,
And the roar of thunder.
